The Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) was established in 1960 under the Federation of Hong Kong Industries Ordinance (Cap. 321) to promote and foster the interests of Hong Kong's industrial and business communities.

We are looking for a high-calibre and energetic member to join our team. She/He will be responsible for supporting a wide array of corporate communication initiatives of the Federation to enhance the organisation’s image and public presence. Reporting to the Manager, Policy, Research and Corporate Communication, the candidate is expected to:

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Managing the development and production of corporate literature, including but not limited to Hong Kong Industrialist quarterly magazine, annual report, e-Newsletter, website and social media contents and other promotional materials;
• Supporting media liaison, handling of external requests, website management, social media account management, Committee work and meetings/ events arrangement;
• Supporting the drafting of speeches, presentations and other write-ups for the leadership;
• Handling relevant administration tasks such as advertising, stakeholder database management and other house-keeping issues;
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Degree holder in related disciplines, preferably in journalism, communication, public relations, language or social sciences;
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in communications and public affairs, preferably gained from sizable or public organisations;
• Experience in producing corporate publications, social media development, website development and management are definite advantages;
• Excellent command of written English and Chinese, with good understanding in economic policy and industrial development;
• A mature, self-motivated team player with excellent organisational skills and attention to details; able to perform under pressure and tight timeline;
• Willing to work outside office hours as and when necessary;
• Immediate availability is preferred;
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for Officer, Corporate Communication;
• Candidates who can provide a recent English write-up for reference will be considered favourably.
