Job Description
S/he will report to Category Manager, in-charge of supermarket personal care or babies' product, manage assortment & category to maximize income.
Role & Responsibilities
- Handle merchandising function including negotiation, purchase, price setting, stock control, consignment arrangement, layout planning etc.
- Analyze and review the category performance, identify areas for enhancing sales and profits and provide recommendations.
- Identify market trends and conduct market research to cope with market changes and challenges from competitors
- Active liaison with various internal and external parties for Company’s activities e.g. VIP days promotion, festive events
Capabilities Required
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related disciplines
- At least 5 years of experience in merchandising or FMCG industry
- Good analytical skills, able to work independently as well as under pressure
- Proficiency in PC applications
- With ability to multi-task, know how to prioritize
- Less experience will be considered as Assistant Category Manager
