This is an excellent opportunity to work in a leading Pay TV operator in Hong Kong. We are now currently seeking a motivated professional with legal background partner with the Business Unit in supporting strategic initiatives and business growth. Other responsibilities include:

1. Draft, review and negotiate a range of commercial agreements including content acquisition, advertising and marketing cooperation agreements for local and international media & entertainment businesses.
2. Provide legal advice to Business Unit’s management in relation to media & entertainment matters including but not limited to content licensing, marketing, advertising and consumer issues, etc.
3. Carry out / perform other commercial legal related duties in alignment with strategic business plans and directions as determined by management.
4. Work closely with the Group Legal Office to ensure compliance with legal requirements as per Group’s standards.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

• A University degree in relevant discipline or equivalent qualifications

• General commercial legal experience. Familiar with IP and / or media & entertainment matters is an advantage
• A qualified lawyer with min. 2 years of post-qualification legal experience is preferable

• Good negotiating, problem-solving and communications skills
• Well–developed organizational and interpersonal skills and be able to work independently under time pressure and pro-active
• Able to work with minimal supervision
