• Responsible for R&D method development and validation by using various analytical instrument
• Estimate and monitor the effort required on projects and respond promptly to deviations from estimate
• Prepare long range plans for the laboratory’s activities and to determine future areas of activity for the laboratory
• Responsible for the quality of work produced by the laboratory and to ensure the quality management system be in compliance to ISO 17025 standard
• Ensure adequate facilities exist for the conduct of laboratory activities
• Plan and deliver training for operation staff
• Provide specialist advice, opinions and information to other laboratory and to clients

• Degree or above in Chemistry, Life Science, Nature Science, Engineering and Technology or relevant subject
• Experience in commercial laboratory or related industry is preferred
• Knowledge in laboratory quality system requirement or familiar with ISO 17025 is of advantage
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently
• Good management, communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese including Mandarin
