Job Description

Shipping and Logistics

  • Coordinate with Supply Chain Planners, Suppliers and Forwarders / Shipping companies / Transport companies for shipments and cross boundary trucking arrangements to ensure on-time delivery
  • Support and handle daily I/O shipments, follow up operational issues and provide the solutions in a timely manner
  • Report I/O shipment arrival status and notify Supply Chain Planners arrival discrepancy or shipment damage if any.
  • Handle full set of inbound Documents. Custom declarations, mapping HS codes and Bill of Lading,
  • Handle full set of Outbound Shipping document, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, HS codes and Custom declaration between Hong Kong, China, and the Middle East
  • Maintain the accuracy of booking and purchasing documents with Supply Chain Planners
  • Monitor shipment status and order follow up/ Responsible for tracking order status and logistic coordination
  • Minimize logistics cost by conducting regular analysis and negotiating with service provider for the best terms / condition for the company.
  • Generate and improves various reports for supply chain pipeline monitoring.
  • Provide admin support to Supply chain Team

Inventory Control

  • Collaborate with internal and external team, customers etc. to ensure smooth and efficient workflow which provides the excellent customer services.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by the department manager
  • Formal performance reviews against KPIs including service levels, costs, efficiencies etc. to accomplish business objective.

Core competencies: -

  • Supply Chain and 3PL management skills
  • Possess general PC computer knowledge and MS Office, advanced in Excel.
  • Multilingual communication skills in Cantonese, Mandarin & English
  • Able to work independently and proactively in a multicultural environment.
  • Adapt and embrace changes
  • Self-motivated, detailed-minded, able to work independently.
  • Degree holder with minimum 2 year of experience in SME Shipping and Logistics
  • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skill 
  • Plus – Knowledge of Systems (NetSuite) and Furniture or Home Good Knowledge
