Responsibilities:

• Participate in the entire system development life cycle. Lead in system design, development, testing and implementation to develop financial services systems & applications.
• Design and build user-centric API ecosystems to drive new consumer experiences and unlock business capabilities.
• Collaborate with diverse technical delivery teams to build service-based architecture to scale and innovate.
• Drive high-impact technology decisions on topics including container orchestration, service mesh, API gateways, and commercial vs. open source software.

• Degree in Computing / Information Systems or a related discipline
• Experience in banking or finance industry would be an advantage
• Solid experience in JAVA, Spring Boot Framework, Microservice, and RESTful APIs
• Experience with and knowledge of common Architecture patterns (e.g. microservices, GoF, SOA, Event sourcing, etc.)
• Strong experience in Microsoft .NET, C#, JAVA
• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in API security standards and implementation (Oauth, OpenId)
• Experience addressing operational and non-functional concerns (e.g. horizontal & vertical scalability, performance, maintainability, load distribution, resilience, recovery, security and privacy)
• Self-motivated, independent and strong problem solving & analytical skill
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, and Mandarin is a must
