Job Description

The successful candidate will become a member of the Network Operations - Network Support team and be responsible for production support of HKEX network infrastructures. Job responsibilities include:

•            To manage and monitor the healthiness of network infrastructures

•            To trouble-shoot, handle and fix network incidents and problems

•            To collaborate with network service providers and other parties on production support

•            To maintain and improve security and operation compliance of network settings and changes

•            To adopt tools and systems, such as JIRA, Confluence to enhance operation tasks and productivity

Requirements

•            Degree in Computer Science/Telecommunications or related disciplines

•            At least 7-year experience in design, implementation and support of large scale mission critical IP networks and Internet infrastructures

•            Experience in security, networking and general backend application management such as Firewall, Routers, Switches, VPN, VoIP, VC, etc.

•            Hands-on experience in trouble-shooting complex IP networks

•            Experience in programming with VBA, Perl, Python, C for network automation is preferred

•            Familiar with Ansible, Solarwinds, JIRA and Confluence is a plus

•            Holder of CCNP/CCIE/CISSP/CISA will be an advantage

•            Strong communication and interpersonal skills, independent, proactive

•            Frequent work on weekend and/or irregular working hours is required
