Job Description

THE JOB :
- European trading & sourcing office
- Main item : indoor & outdoor furniture products
- Main markets : Europe, Italy, France and South America
- Key customers : retailers, hypermarkets, specialty stores, DIY and garden centres
- We are looking for QUALITY OFFICER - with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- Report to Quality Manager
- Work in Quality team of 3 members in Hong Kong office
- Assist the Quality Manager in full spectrum of quality operations
- Participate in supplier evaluation : new factory pre-evaluation, define correctives actions plan...etc
- Assist product development with factories to ensure product meets quality standards
- Evaluate pre-production samples and its packaging
- Prepare sample/products reports
- Assist during test process with suppliers
- Support on continuous improvement of our suppliers (process, product, …)
- Assist in maintaining and updating quality documents
- Assist on follow quality documents with suppliers (CAPA, Technical sheet, samples, tests, …)
- Ensure quality procedures are followed by suppliers
- Ensure quality of product and packaging with factory
- Perform during production evaluation to ensure early detection and resolution of potential quality issues in collaboration with QA in China
- Review and validate inspection reports
- Tertiary education is preferable
- 3 to 5 years quality related work experience in trading/manufacturing/buying offices
- Proficient in English & Mandarin
- Knowledge of European standards and regulations
- Previous experience in furniture products or hardgoods
- 5 days work
- 13 months salary + performance bonus
