A well-known Europe sportswear buying office is seeking Senior Merchandiser for expansion.

Your new company
You'll be working for a reputable market-leader within the Sportswear industry who is looking for a Senior Merchandiser to be based in Hong Kong. With an aggressive growth plan and the vision to become a better leader in its field, it continues to gain market share over its competitors.

Your new role

• Develop sportswear collections in collaboration with designer and suppliers
• Make sure products are properly developed to a high standard and at a good price for sales subsidiaries and key accounts
• Drive cross functional communication proactively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve efficient and effective product development process
• Ensure on time sample delivery, product finalization and approval prior to bulk order placement

What you'll need to succeed

• Diploma or Degree in Textile / Fashion / Clothing related discipline
• 3-5+ years relevant experience in garment/sportswear/ apparel industry
• Woven and knitted garment with strong fabric knowledge and experience
• Good understanding and knowledge of apparel components and product costing
• Proficiency in Excel (vlookup and pivot table) is necessary and knowledge of 3D sampling, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is preferred
• Good command of English and Mandarin
