Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage full set of procurement activities related to medicine API, excipients and packing from supplier oversea sourcing, quotation, cost analysis, contract negotiation
- Explore and maintain production materials resources and supplier records (e.g. Qualification documents, terms of sale) in management system
- Adjust the procurement strategy based on analyzing and predicting the market to minimize the procurement risks
- Monitor supplier selection and negotiation with suppliers, cost control and archiving reasonable cost reduction
- Develop and maintain strong relationship with suppliers for strategic purchasing planning and conduct supplier performance evaluations
- Coordinate with internal departments for purchasing material related projects
- Provide periodic reporting for management on purchasing and sourcing
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Pharmaceutical, Food Engineering is preferred
- At least 10 years’ relevant working experience preferably in pharmaceutical industry or purchasing a variety of general and specialized items. Oversea suppliers working experience is a plus.
- Familiar with the supply market related pharmaceutical industry, modern purchasing methods, procedures and specifications preparation
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Possess good analytical problem solving abilities as well as negotiation skills
- Less experience will be considered as Procurement Officer
- Immediate available is highly preferred
