Key Responsibilities 

• Understand product ranges, price ranges and capability of different suppliers to help identify suitable suppliers for development
• Work closely with Sales & Merchandising and Product Development teams to understand customer needs, requirements and overall market trends on knit and woven fabric 
• Source and develop knit and woven fabric including request for quotations, negotiation with suppliers, sample arrangement and fabric testing, recommend best offer (in terms of quality, service and cost) to the sales team and bulk order management 
• Make recommendations to Sales & Merchandising and Product Development teams for the best offer (in terms of quality, price, lead time, etc.)
• Conduct research and analysis on suppliers and industry/market trends 
• Identify potential savings opportunities and support cost savings initiatives 
• Manage supplier relationships 
• Participate in operational improvement projects 
• Source and set up new suppliers

 Requirements 

• Bachelor degree holder, preferably in textile / clothing or related disciplines
• 3-5 years of experience preferably in sourcing functions under a manufacturing, trading or retail (including buying offices) setting
• Experience in textile/apparel industry, especially on knit products is a plus 
• Good understand of supply chain management concepts including order management, supplier management, lead time etc. 
• Strong communication and customer servicing mindset 
• Excellent command in English & Mandarin 
• Willing to travel occasionally within Asia 
• Proficient in MS Office (e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
