Ocean Procurement Manager 

Job Description
Responsibilities:

• Responsible on handling daily rate request and pricing-related inquiries (Knowledge in Transpacific tradelane will be an advantage)

• Adhere to rate and pricing-related requirement, e.g. FAK, NAC, RFQ, Tenders, etc.

• Update regular rate sheet, pricing database, daily statistics and reports and market information (e.g. FAK/NAC/Spot Rate Update, Utilization Levels, Blank Sailings etc)

• Communicate with local offices and carriers on space, allocation coordination and arrangement etc.

• Coordination between carriers, sales & operation team

• Distribute trade related market information and materials as required

 Requirements:

• Diploma or above

• Min. 3 years or above working experience in Logistics field or related disciplines

• Basic knowledge in shipping industry knowledge and pricing / ocean product will be an advantage

• Commercial experience in negotiating rates / space issues directly with carriers

• Good communication and analytical skills

• Good command of spoken and written Chinese, English and Mandarin.

• Proficient in Microsoft office as well as comfortable with PC & IT based tools and systems
