Job Description
Our client is a public listed multinational company specialized in developing and manufacturing of technology products.
Responsibilities
- Report to the Global VP based in HQ and lead a team of Supply Chain Professional
- Lead the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of supply chain management which including S&OP, demand forecast & supply planning and customer satisfaction that contribute to business growth and success in the region
- Accountable for supply chain performance which includes identifying forecast accuracy accountability, supervising the creation of short and long-term supply and capacity plans to support APAC demand and inventory requirements
- Work closely with key functional stakeholders such as Sales, Finance and Manufacturing to achieve targeted forecast and service performance levels
- Devise, initiate and implement KPIs, improvement plans and programs to improve team performance & productivity, adhere to compliance and best practices
- Coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain
- Develop templates, systems, and processes to document the demand/ supply planning and delivery functions
- Demand planning – lead the monthly S&OP cadence through working closely with Sales to maintain forecast accuracy, manage the opportunistic demand process to facilitate decision making and resolution
- Supply planning – identify demand and supply imbalances and create recommendations to resolve
- Effective Inventory (shortages, excess and obsolete) Management – establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals
- Analytics – ownership of various Demand and Supply Analytics such as demand accuracy, bias, and a variety of other regular metrics for business operations
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree with Masters/MBA preferred. Professional certification a plus.
- 12+ years progressive experience in supply chain management (covering supply & demand planning and S&OP/ customer service)
- Proven leadership skill in building and managing sizeable regional teams with track record
- MNC experience with industry domain in manufacturing (consumer electronics, consumer goods) is desirable
- Multi-tasked with strong organizational and time management skill – able to set priorities on multiple projects in order to complete in deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and people skill -
- able to lead cross-functional teams in a multi-cultural and matrix environment to drive results
- able to communicate tactfully and resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely manner
- Hands-on professional with strong technical & documentation skill – expert in building tables (pivot) and reports on his/her own; able to understand logic and rationale behind
- Dynamic, flexible and adapt to changes – able to pick up new technologies in timely manner
- Persistent and result oriented with excellent problem-solving skill - positive, resourceful and able to think “out of box” with “can-do” mindset
- Good command of spoken & written Chinese and English
- Flexible to travel is required
