Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Sous Chef to maintain good standards of food quality and preparation
  • Supervise a team of subordinates, assign all various duties to the employee, provide training and coach them as to the proper procedure to follow
  • Maintain high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and keep equipment in proper condition
  • Provide ad hoc support as assigned
Requirements
  • Diploma holder in culinary management or a related field of discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in similar capacity
  • Minimum 5 years related experience in food & beverage, hotel experience is a plus
  • Well organized, self-motivated, innovative, good communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills
  • Highly organized with problem solving and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Canadidate with less experience would be considered as Junior Sous Chef
