Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Sous Chef to maintain good standards of food quality and preparation
- Supervise a team of subordinates, assign all various duties to the employee, provide training and coach them as to the proper procedure to follow
- Maintain high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and keep equipment in proper condition
- Provide ad hoc support as assigned
- Diploma holder in culinary management or a related field of discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in similar capacity
- Minimum 5 years related experience in food & beverage, hotel experience is a plus
- Well organized, self-motivated, innovative, good communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills
- Highly organized with problem solving and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Canadidate with less experience would be considered as Junior Sous Chef
