Responsibilities:

• Assist in ensuring the suppliers’ capability to comply with the company’s quality requirements and guidelines
• Assist for the assessment of external test certificates in accordance with the set standards
• Help in ensuring the suppliers’ fulfilment of all quality requirements; formulation of remedial and preventive measures to achieve continuous improvement
• Review and monitor the performance of suppliers. Thus, frequent trips to the production areas are necessary.
• Assist in developing the quality standards and solutions in co-operation with the central QM department
• Observe and report on technical changes in regional testing laboratories
• Process monitoring esp. concerning to error rate and failure rate

Requirements:

• Tertiary education in Quality Assurance or similar relevant disciplines
• At least 2 to 6 years’ working experience in DIY products
• Work independently, self-motivated with strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Familiar with local and western culture and business practices
• Able to collaborate with others to develop solutions and resolve problems
• Must develop solutions to meet the customers’ needs
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Putonghua
• Analytical, problem-solving and time-management skills
• Immediate availability is preferred
• Occasional traveling to China and overseas required
