On behalf of our banking client, we are now inviting high caliber personnel to fill up the position of Compliance Manager focused on General Compliance.

Accountabilities

• Conduct regular compliance reviews, provide pro-active and consultative advisory services to business units on general compliance issues
• Handle HKMA enquiries, assist Team Head in managing regulatory problems arising from alleged or actual breaches of regulatory requirements or ethical standards
• Monitor new/revised regulatory requirements, determine applicability to the business and advice accordingly
• Review and initiate new policies and procedures for compliance with regulatory requirements
• Provide necessary assistance and staff training to enhance compliance consciousness of all levels

Attributes

• Degree in Accounting, Law or business-related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years General compliance experience in commercial bank
• Substantial knowledge in banking products and regulatory requirements
• Good communication skills, self-motivated, independent and ability to handle objections
• Proficient in both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
