RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific responsibilities include but are not restricted to:-

• Responsible for manage the whole process of buying activities by category
• Formulate and develop buying strategies and budget proposals to achieve sales, profit and inventory targets
• Formulate OTB planning, merchandise mix and assortment planning
• Deploy effective stock replenishment, inventory control, competitive pricing, potential markdowns and margin control strategies and action plans to optimize sales targets
• Analyze market trends and sales performance on merchandise categories
• Work closely with retail operations, marketing and visual merchandising departments to formulate sales and marketing strategies
• Formulating and developing buying plan in terms of category ratio and size ratio and allocate the right merchandise in right locations
• Assuring achievement of volume, gross margin and profit goals through effective merchandise selection, buying, timing and promotion

 REQUIREMENTS

• University graduate in Fashion and Clothing or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years experience in a retail or wholesale buying with 3 years in supervisory level
• Good understanding of supply and demands, retail operation, product cycle and fashion retail knowledge for Hong Kong market
• Excellent fashion and market sense in apparel and retail industry
• Self-motivated, passionate, with strong analytical presentation and leadership skills
• Strong analytical mind & sensitive to figures
• Good command of both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Candidates with less experiences will be considered as Senior Buyer

As a milestone of the 20th anniversary of MLB KOREA, the F&F Group determined to bring MLB KOREA to expend its retail network to Asia. F&F Hong Kong as the first station of F&F’s expended retail network, we have developed 8 stores in Hong Kong and 3 stores in Macau operating since December 2017.
