Job Description

Reporting to the PwC China Human Capital Strategy and Transformation CoE Lead, the HR Transformation and Change Management Lead is responsible for lend-to-end implementation of the new target operating model and leading the change management work stream, proactively balancing scope, schedule, budget, risk, project team, outcomes, and benefits.​

Key responsibilities include:​

Target Operating Model for the People Organisation​

  • With the high-level design of the future state Target Operating model confirmed, the HR Tranformation Project Lead will engage key stakeholders to design the detailed team structure, scope, roles and responsibilities of the future state HR teams. ​
  • Leverage past HC transformation experience, leading practices, and connections with other PwC network firms to apply key learnings to develop implementation and workforce transition and change management plan to ensure a successful transformation ​
  • Post implementation, conduct HR activity analysis and other satisfaction surveys to gather input on the impact and effectiveness of the new TOM model, and provide recommendations for further improvements to ensure maximum benefit realisation​

Change Management, Culture and Values​

  • Own and drive the change management strategy and plans for the continuous transformation of the People Organisation ​
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to design change strategy and plan to implement key People Priorities​
  • Work with a small team to implement change management plans for key people priorities and provide advisory support to other people initiatives​
  • Design and implement ongoing initiatives to further promote the PwC Culture and Values and continue to drive the right behaviours ​

Ways of working​

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (e.g. business and HC leadership) to understand business requirements and objectives​
  • Support HC Strategy and Transformation CoE Lead to coordinate the delivery of the end to end new target operating model ​
  • Motivate and lead the project team with enthusiasm and drive team effectiveness​

Qualifications and skills​

  • 10+ years of experience in HR Transformation and Change Management, having implemented a new target operating model (operating model, structure, process, ways of working and governance) for one or more organizations​
  • Previous HR Transformation experience to include but not limited to: HR activity analysis, detailed HR organisation design, capability reviews, change management, and workforce transition planning​
  • Previous change management experience to include but not limited to: Stakeholder and change impact assessment, change management, communications, training and workforce transition plan design​
  • Flexible and capable to manage the end to end HR transformation workstreams in a complex global/territory capacity​
  • Ability to work with different levels of stakeholders to develop relationships, establish credibility and instill confidence ​
  • Ability to identify and solve problems objectively using analysis, leading practices, and experience​
  • Excellent analytical, articulation, project management, and communication skills​
  • Prior experience and/or familiarity with agile strategies and some of the relevant HC technologies would be of benefit ​
