Tom Lee Music Hong Kong is seeking to appoint a Front End Developer to execute the development of new web design for our E-Commerce websites across the Asia Pacific.

The role will work closely with in-house Creative Design team’s Web Designers, Project Managers, and developers to ensure timely and high-quality maintenance and refreshes of websites.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience writing clean, semantic, valid code, with strict adherence to web standards, experience working in an agile development environment, exceptional time management abilities, and a good understanding of how to support a range of browsers and devices our consumers use. Good design sense is required in order for the appointee to work with the Creative Team to create, localize, and customize components, including web-ready graphics, HTML web page, and HTML email.

In this position, you will: 

• Participate in system design and development of E-Commerce & web-related applications 
• Design and conduct unit testing, system integration testing and user acceptance testing 
• Develop application software according to specifications 
• Adhere to the standards and guidelines for software development 
• Produce system documentations 
• Maintenance of software applications 
• Prepare relevant user operation guide 

We look for: 

• Knowledge of HTML / CSS / Javascript  / Bootstrap UI Design / PHP / SQL / SASS / Wordpress / API integration / TypeScript is a must 
• Knowledge of Shopify platform preferred 
• Exposure to the Microsoft .NET development framework is an advantage 
• Good sense of e-Commerce practice is an advantage 
• Love to communicate with people and energetic character
