Category Executive - Watches, Jewelry, Accessories and Sunglasses APAC

As a member of our Global Category Management community, you will be supporting the Category Manager to drive the growth and development of Watches, Jewelry and Accessories & Sunglasses category in Asia and acting as the interface to the regional category management activities.

The position is based in Hong Kong

Key Accountabilities

• Assist the Category Manager in preparing and implementing the Commercial Plan for the Category
• Manage the selection and define assortments at regional level, prepare initial orders
• Ensure implementation of the novelties and marketing promotions program to deliver sales and profit targets
• Prepare and review monthly report on assortment performance by location, vendor, brand and SKU (top brands 80/20), sales and margin
• Prepare and validate price change analysis and implementation with relevant stakeholders
• Manage implementation of agreed promotions with the local operations
• Maintain a strong relationship with local operational teams and external suppliers to drive sales and performance
• Assist with allocating space for brands in new shop developments and layouts in partnership with Global Shop Development
• Assist the global team with research about product and market trends

Experience and Skills

• Degree holder in business or related disciplines
• 3-5 years business experience in category management, experience in watches, jewelry and or sunglasses is a plus
• Good commercial acumen - ability to analyze business performance and identify new opportunities for sales and margin growth
• Attention to detail with problem solving skills
• Good interpersonal skills - able to communicate with multiple stakeholders at different levels and influence decision making for the category
• Self-driven and reliable - able to work independently
• Fluent in written and verbal communication of English
• Strong PC skills - Advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft programs. At ease with SAP and various ERP systems
