This role will be involved in supporting the strategy development & strategic planning process of a global leading travel retailer. The candidate will be part of a high-performing and highly motivated team providing insightful analysis on market developments and translating them into actionable initiatives to drive the strategic growth of the business. The role will involve close collaboration with senior leaders from key functions (e.g., Merchandising, Business Development, Marketing, Store Development) and operating divisions spread across multiple destinations.

• Identify & monitor key trends impacting the travel & luxury retail sectors across different regions, channels & product categories.
• Provide analysis to identify immediate/mid/long-term risks and opportunities resulting from external developments.
• Provide business forecasts & KPIs to guide immediate/mid/long-term strategy development across functions and operating divisions.
• Develop structured processes and tools to monitor performance and delivery towards major initiatives, and provide timely updates to senior leadership team, key functions, and operating divisions.
• Support preparation of corporate presentations to Board of Directors, senior leadership team, and key external stakeholders.
• Function as business partner to key functions & operating divisions to support research & strategy development needs.
• Support conceptualization, development & implementation of strategic corporate initiatives.

• A problem solver with analytical & strategic thinking and agility with numbers
• Dealing with ambiguity under a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills and comfortable engaging senior leadership
• Excellent in Excel & PowerPoint
• Proficient in Mandarin language will be a plus 
• Management consulting or other professional services experience preferred
• Interest in the travel and tourism and luxury retail industry
