Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with agents, brokers, direct customers to develop more acceptable business to achieve the expected performance result
- Monitor renewal portfolio and secure major renewal cases
- Maintain effective work relationship with brokers & agents by collecting appropriate information for underwriter’s assessment in order to provide competitive terms to achieve better production result
- Introduction of new range of products to brokers, agents & clients
- Prepare statistical reports on business performance including production reports to management monitoring for reference by management
- Any task assigned by the Company and/or Head of Business Unit Core Channel
- Fulfill IA’s individual agent qualification requirements
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in general insurance
- Strong knowledge of insurance products and compliance requirements
- Solid experience in marketing area
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Work cooperatively and effectively with different levels of people and enable to establish and maintain positive working relationships with others both internally and externally
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Member of ANZII/CII is preferable
- Candidate with more experience will be considered as Assistant Manager, Business Unit - Core Channels
