The client is a global prestigious MNC Insurance Group, is now seeking a new headcount for Regional VMware & Cloud Engineer (HKD50k – 60k) to join their team

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the support of VMWare on-prem, cloud environment and HCI infrastructure across APAC region
• Responsible for configuration, deployment and implementation of VMWare, SRM, VSAN, RecoverPoint for VM, Citrix VDI, HCI-VxRail, and cloud environment - Azure and AWS
• Ensure stability and maintainability of the infrastructure in all technical environments, as well as the business continuity of internal systems and execution
• Responsible for the documentation of all systems, application and security change, upgrades and new implementations
• Assess systems to identify potential weaknesses or problems and manage the complex troubleshooting & incident resolution events
• Closely collaborate with other teams for new technology solution setup and POC deployment
• Perform Disaster Recovery Drill
• Ensure security patches updated and compliance with security auditing

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in IT solutions implementation and system integration
• Experience in IT infrastructure or system monitoring administration / operation is required
• Hands-on experience in VMWare 6.5/7, SRM, vCenter, RecoverPoint for VM, vSphere replication, vSAN, Cloud operation (Azure and AWS) and solid working knowledge of UCS/ HCI/ VxRail hardware operation and administration
• Experience in Citrix VDI infrastructure is preferable
• VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) is preferable
• Proficiency in VMWare associated programs and coding languages, e.g. Windows Server, MS IIS, SAN architecture
• Scripting experience (shell, bash, Perl, python) is required
• Be available for resolving urgent VMWare environment problems outside of business hours
