Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing all legal cases at the stage of letter before action involving third party property damage/third party bodily injury cases in line with the policies and comply with relevant protocols in the Claims Manual
  • Ensure fast and fair settlement of claims from customers and the third party claimants within the pre-defined authority limit
  • Deliver the highest level of consistent, quality claims service to our customers
  • Maintain claim costs control
  • Ensure that all the relevant claims correspondences are documented in systems in good and order file manner
  • Implement and review claims processes to deliver business goals
  • Manage claims service providers and partners to achieve required service standards
  • Handle escalated complaints, aiming for satisfactory resolution at first point of contacts and resolve conflicts
  • Perform and facilitate file reviews and claim audits
  • Identify issues and risk about fraudulent, potential and/or claims leakage
  • Work towards the team’s objectives and demonstrate commitment to achieve department targets and personal goals
  • Provide technical advice in relation to the claim handling to all the sub coordinates
  • Coaching, mentoring and training of all the sub coordinates
  • Perform other duties or ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Company
Requirements:
  • Professional qualification such as IIQE/ANZIIF/ACII and related discipline
  • Minimum 8 years relevant experience in handling general insurance claims and operation across functions
  • Excellent technical skills and knowledge of insurance industry, fraud prevention system, compliance, regulatory and legislative requirements and management information system

  • High professional and ethical standards
  • Good command of written and spoken in Chinese, English and proficient in Mandarin
  • Dynamic interpersonal & intrapersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Must be proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
