Job responsibilities

• Handle month end closing, prepare journal entries
• Ensure the monthly financial reports, reconciliation and analysis are prepared timely and accurately
• Participate in IFRS 17 implementation and UAT
• Handle queries from different counterparties
• Assist in annual audit and SOX audit
• Support ad hoc matters as assigned

Job requirements

• Degree holder in Accounting or equivalent
• Completed HKICPA, ACCA examinations or equivalent is preferred
• At least 7 years of experience in accounting field, preferably from insurance industry
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Able to handle tight timelines, willing to work independently and under pressure
• Pro-active, strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent in written and spoken English
• Experience in SUN and SAP accounting systems is an advantage
