Job Duties:

• Maintain full set of accounts for India entities including AR, AP, daily book-keeping, stock entries, inter-company transactions, and reconciliation of ledgers and statements.
• Coordinating with external auditors and company secretary in India and ensuring timely compliance of statutory requirements like preparation of returns and payments for GST, TDS, PT, Income tax, annual return filing, etc.
• Prepare timely accounting reports, statistical and other reports as required by the management or customers
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing & reporting and external audit
• Recommend any process improvement opportunities for efficiency, control & compliance enhancement
• Collaborate with accounting team members to support various departments and activities on a daily basis;
• Any ad hoc assignments as deemed necessary from direct manager

Job Specifications:

• Higher Diploma or above in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in relevant field. Candidates with higher experience would be considered for the Accounts Assistant post.
• Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws like TDS and GST.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software Tally.ERP9, Microsoft applications, Sage X3 or other ERP system is highly preferred
• Able to communicate in both spoken and written English. Knowledge of Indian languages such as Hindi would be an added advantage.
• Mature, independent and able to work with minimum supervision
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Immediately available
