My client is a sizeable Foreign Bank branch in Hong Kong with a reputable and large Asia presence, providing a wide range of services including commercial banking and corporate banking services. The finance department is now looking for a new Vice President to join their HKMA Regulatory Reporting department. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Head of the regulatory reporting team and work within a team of less than 10 
• Be a reviewer of HKMA banking returns and surveys
• Lead system implementation or HKMA related projects and UAT work
• Manage any new HKMA regulatory reporting requirements as and when requested and ensure efficient communication and implementation of new guidelines
• Support any other ad hoc queries and projects related to regulatory reporting

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related
• Qualified Accountant
• At least 10+ years of experience in preparing and reviewing HKMA banking returns / regulatory reporting within banking industry
• Strong communications/native level Cantonese and English speaking skills 
• Excellent stakeholder management and project management skills
