Job Description
Our restructuring and insolvency teams are currently involved in some of the most high profile cases globally and we have market leading teams in a number of the offshore financial centres.
The team’s recent projects include:
- Large and complex Hong Kong insolvencies, both Court appointed and Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation matters.
- Provisional Liquidation, Official Liquation and Receivership matters in the Cayman Islands, Bermuda and the BVI.
- Independent Business Reviews for major global financiers in the PRC, Malaysia and Indonesia.
- Independent Financial Advisor to a HK listed company with major operations in the PRC.
- Restructuring engagements focused on financial/operational turnaround and organizational reorganization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Qualified or working towards an accountancy qualification such as HKICPA or CPA
- One to two years of experience - relevant insolvency / restructuring experience in Hong Kong preferred
- An understanding of corporate insolvency, financial or independent business reviews and restructuring particularly for Senior Associate roles
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Self-motivated, independent, mature, and committed individual
- Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to be involved in business development activities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
