What We're Looking For

As our Fantastic Finance Manager, you will take a hands-on, can-do approach to help grow our business. Working closely with our Managing Director, you will take charge of all of our company's accounting requirements, as well as helping to develop our project management and accounting systems, researching and implementing new tools for our business development, and handling various special tasks from time to time. Flexibility, dedication, and communication are essential for success in this role.

The Package

Salary: HK$35,000 to HK$48,000 per month, depending on your experience and demonstrated ability

Raises/Promotions: Assessed by the Directors on your employment anniversary

Bonus: Performance-based (company + individual)

Working Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Annual Leave: 12 days (same for everyone in Interspace)

Company Holidays: Standard "Bank Holidays" (i.e. General Holidays)

Responsibilities:

• Manage existing accounting operations (using Xero)
• Develop and implement monthly reporting to include both management accounts and Project summaries versus budgets/quotes.
• Manage payroll, leave and expenses systems (using Talenox) to ensure information is accurate and always on time.
• Supervise, mentor and develop accounting and project accounting staff as we grow.
• Provide insights from financial perspectives to assist decision making.
• Drive annual financial and CAPEX budgeting, from planning to monitoring.
• Manage relationships with external professional parties/service providers, including auditors, bankers etc.
• Evaluate and improve financial control systems, policies and procedures from time to time.
• Ensure satisfactory completion of annual audit, tax, company secretarial and other regulatory or compliance requirements.
• Lead/assist in other projects from time to time.Manage the existing accounting operations.

Requirements: 

• University degree holder obtained from a recognized institution.
• Qualified professional accountant (HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent).
• A minimum of 5 years relevant working experience/proven track record.
• Strong interpersonal & communications skills; comfortable to challenge others and provide feedback in a non-confrontational manner whilst at the same time maintaining a good team ethic and respect for colleagues.
• Commercially minded, hands-on, energetic, proactive, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
• Well organised and able to work towards deadlines
• Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese.
• Must be physically resident in Hong Kong at the time of application and available to interview in-person on short notice. Candidates requiring a work visa will not be considered.
• Highest standard of integrity.
• Experience using Xero is required.
