Seeking an assistant project manager to work alongside main project manager to oversee the manufacturing of an education project product, as well as organize and oversee the subsequent pilot trial to help students with special needs to learn Chinese. Great opportunity to work with cutting edge smart learning card technologies in a fast-paced startup environment, together with the Centre for Special Educational Needs and Inclusive Education (CSENIE) of the Education University of Hong Kong in a joint project. Main duties include:
Assist main Project Manager (PM) in quality control, deployment, trial execution and feedbacks of the product within the given timeframe
• Draft the processes above for approval by PM, in preparation for future commercialization of the product
• Assist PM in liaising with CSENIE and Kazoo to understand the design, functionality and features requirements of the product
• Facilitate communication with Kazoo’s project coordinator on project status on a consistent basis
• Record and organize meetings and process with suppliers, including card manufacturer, chipset maker, iPads and Android tablets provider, software developer, and audit firm on all matters related to project and each party’s respective task
• Help plan logistics for conducting of trials with schools introduced by CSENIE
• Assist in recruiting all temporary staff required in conduction of trials and data analysis, such as posting job ads and organizing interviews
• Train temporary staff in the conduction of trials and data analysis.
• Follow instructions of PM to ensure that every step during the length of the project is taken with regard to required procedures Kazoo’s project coordinator specifies
• Keep track of project progress and report to PM on issues

Qualifications:
University degree (Bachelor or above);
• A minimum of 2 years of work experience in IT project management.
• Excellent communication skills in Chinese and English;
• Fluent in conversational Mandarin to communicate with mainland contacts
• A track record of coordinating stakeholders in a team project environment
• A passion for new education technology;
• Quality conscious, able to prioritize tasks in appropriate timeline.
