A Little About the Role:
As an Accountant, you’ll will be handling the full set of accounting tasks. Your job here will involve tight collaboration across various global and local teams ranging from Finance operations to system implementation.
What You’ll be Doing:
- Take care of our daily AR / AP transactions and bank account reconciliation for Group entities, including international subsidiaries if required.
- Handling daily accounting tasks and data input as well as full set of accounting functions.
- Working with the Finance Manager in designing and implementing automated solutions to create scalable accounting processes.
- Prepare financial reports and maintaining financial models.
- Help with our new SAP Finance system implementation.
- Liaise with the auditors in the annual audit of the consolidated financial statements of the Group.
We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline.
- Prior accounting experience; ideally from eCommerce, technology, or start-up environment but not essential.
- Familiar with Hong Kong accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Ex: Xero, SAP, etc.) and Excel.
- High adaptability, strong sense of urgency, enjoy working in a fast-growing environment.
- Proactive, passionate and detail-minded.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English, and preferably also Cantonese and Mandarin.
