We are currently looking for a high caliber candidate to join our Accounting Team as “Assistant Accounting Manager"

Job Summary:

• Supervise the finance team
• Accountable for an accurate and timely booking of transactions and on time month-end reporting
• Maintain a proper accounting system according to local and corporate accounting standard
• Ensure the improvement of accounting processes
• Adherence to Accounting Standards and group guidelines

In this role, you will:

• Perform month-end/year-end closing
• Supervise and coach the accounting staffs
• Review and authorize payments and approve purchase requisition
• Manage fixed asset register
• Prepare the weekly cashflow forecast
• Adhere to appropriate and timely posting: checking of all transactions made by subordinates
• Participate in the preparation of short-term forecast
• Review the balance sheet reconciliations
• Work with international affiliates to maintain intercompany accounts
• Liaise with tax advisors, auditors and bankers
• Prepare Group’s Notes Pack & calculate DTA/DTL yearly
• Other ad-hoc projects as required

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline
• Minimum 8 years of accounting experience gained from MNC or sizable organizations
• Knowledge of SAP and HFM is an advantage
• Computer literate (MS Word, Outlook and Strong MS-Excel skill)
• Proactive, detail oriented, analytical and good interpersonal skill
• Strong communication skill
• Ability to work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
• Able to work independently
• Ability to manage and lead staff
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
