Working with a lean and agile team in Hong Kong and reporting to the Finance Director of the APAC region. The Finance Manager is responsible for the finance and accounting of APAC region including China handling full set of accounting and treasury tasks.

Job Description

• Handle full set of accounting for APAC regional office and China.
• Responsible for accounting daily operation, including reporting, AP, AR and GL, statutory documentation, external and internal audit and month end closing.
• Present relevant analysis and reports (eg. P&L by region/channel of distribution, Cash Flow analysis, revenue management) to support business decisions.
• Prepare summary level decks with granular information as support.
• Handle bank transactions, bank reconciliation and cash managements.
• Evaluate and improve current workflow, reporting tools & system.
• Assist in ad hoc assignment to support operation.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 10+ year of accounting experience with China experience (preferable in a MNC consumer goods/ fashion / sports / FMCG / retail).  Treasury experience is a plus.
• APAC region and distributor business model experience is a plus
• Proficiency in PC Skills especially in spreadsheet, G-Suite applications and Xero.
• Very hands on profile, willingness to roll up the sleeves and drive deep into details.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented, organized and accurate.
• Proactive with a strong sense of responsibilities, team player but capable to work independently and meet tight reporting deadline.
• Entrepreneurial, growth minded spirit and able to work in a startup environment.
• Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written.
