Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and prepare the month-end closing management reports, financial statements, analyses and reporting packages
- Review & handle inter-company transactions and reconciliation, maintain and reconcile general ledger and sub-ledgers
- Compile and review monthly accounting journal adjustments
Monitor and handle daily cashflow, receivables, payables, opex processing - Compile monthly and regular cashflow forecast, and liaise with subsidiaries related to cashflow management
- Assist to handle consolidated financial reporting
- Coordinate with internal & external auditors on annual audit and tax matters, support tax computation
- Assist and participate in ad hoc accounting projects including SAP implementation
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business or relevant disciplines
- 5-7 years of relevant working experience in sizable company, preferably MNC
- Self-motivated, independent, willing to work in a fast-paced environment and good interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical, detailed-minded in figures, reporting writing and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office application and experience in SAP Concur, IBM Cognos or similar will be an advantage.
- Good command of both written and spoken English
(Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position as Senior Accountant)
