First Page is looking for a Senior Accounting Officer/ Accountant to join the team. 

What you will be doing:

• Manage the day-to-day accounting transactions
• Processing payroll and other related payroll tasks, such as commission calculation.
• Preparing the month-end management reports
• Overseen accounts payables
• Overseen the accounts receivable
• Calculate and prepare monthly commissions
• Tracking, recording, and reconciling all the expenses and bank accounts
• Prepare budgeting and forecasting
• Credit control of overdue payments.
• Assist Chief Financial Controller with preparing annual financial statements
• Identify process performance issues and suggest and implement solutions
• Assist with basic HR administrative tasks.
• Other ad hoc projects as and when required.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 5 years’ work experience in Financial Accounting is required (preferably in a fast-growing business)
• Exceptional communication skills in English with an ability to communicate clearly to all levels within in the business.
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to resolve competing priorities.
• A strong work ethic and drive to get things done.
• Demonstrated ability to streamline existing accounting processes, whilst ensuring a strong financial control environment is always continued. 
• Well-developed quantitative, financial, and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial and non-financial information.
• Strong Excel and Xero skills as well as an inclination to pick up new systems easily.
• Strong technical accounting skills.
• Bachelor of Business Degree / Diploma in Accounting
