My client is a well-known and reputable Bank in Hong Kong and in the Asia region, providing a wide range of services including commercial banking, retail and corporate banking services. The CFO office is now looking for a new Vice President to support the CFO in the bank's overall business strategy as they grow and establish their presence further in the region. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Working directly and reporting directly to the CFO 
• Act as a business partner for all finance functions (including management reporting, financial reporting and accounting departments) 
• Oversee financial analysis and determine business strategy for the region 
• Engage in high level overseeing of overall bank expenses and cost, ensuring alignment with bank's strategies 
• Stay on top of market trends and external drivers to provide recommendations on new strategies for growth for the bank within the region 
• Support all new initiatives from the CFO office, and coordinate across all different functions within the finance department to implement various finance related projects 

Required Skills & Experiences:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business / Accounting / Finance / Economics or related 
• 12+ years experience in business finance / finance projects / finance related consulting for banks, within the banking industry, with a minimum of 5 years in retail or consumer banks
• Native level communication skills in English and Cantonese
• Strong stakeholder, leadership and project management skills
• Be proactive, results-driven and hands-on
