Our client is a Hong Kong Stock Exchange listed technology company as a very well-established business in the region. They are currently looking for a  seasoned Chief Financial Officer to join their senior management team located in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for the development and execution of the organization’s financial management strategy, leadership of all finance, accounting, budgeting, reporting, tax and regulatory compliance functions. Direct and manage all financial planning, modeling, and budget process
• Manage the company's tax, consulting, banking and audit relationships to ensure tax and regulatory compliance of Hong Kong Listing rules & regulations, including preparation and filing of quarterly and annual accounts & tax returns
• Work with leadership team to develop and update financial plans including collaboration on department budgets and revenue
• Prepare and present monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports and key operating metrics to Group’s leadership team and Board of Directors.
• Monitor banking activities of the organization
• Lead audit and other corporate listing regulatory / compliance activities
• Remain current on changes to all laws and regulatory guidelines which may impact the financial and administrative operations of the organization; interpret and advise on implications of these changes

Requirements: 

• Minimum of 15 years’ work experience in financial management, including working for a major publicly listed company in a senior capacity and at least five years of Big Four Accounting firm experience 
• Familiarity with Hong Kong listing rules & regulations
• Demonstrated track record in leadership and team management. Analytical abilityand strong business acumen to see the big picture as it relates to financial and business matters
• Knowledge of internal control systems used for general accounting principles and industry accounting practices and compliance requirements
• Experienced in working with and reporting out to a board of directors
• Experience in technology industry a definite plus
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Strategic, dynamic and proactive
