Job Description

What you'll do:
  • Prepare project account financial statements and coordinate with project managers and external auditor on project audits within specified timeline.
  • Perform bookkeeping and adjustment according to Hong Kong Accounting Standard and Funding Guidelines.
  • Assist supervisors in month end closing and prepare monthly schedules.
  • Ensure bank reconciliations of project bank accounts and balance sheet account reconciliations are completed on schedule with reconciling items cleared on a timely basis.
  • Ensure proper filing of records on a timely basis.
  • Participate in digitization and simplification projects to streamline operation process and ensure compliance to policies and procedures.
  • Handle ad hoc projects and assignments when required.
You will be a good fit if you have/are:
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines with 2 years of solid experience in financial accounting, and experience in full set of accounts is an advantage
  • 2-3 years audit experience in CPA firm is an advantage
  • Student member or semi-qualified ACCA/CPA or similar professional body
  • Experience in Government Funding Scheme reporting an advantage
  • Experience in Public sector or MNC a plus
  • Attentive to details and proactive with strong initiation
  • Strong analytical, organization, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on experience on SAP is an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Good command of English, Cantonese and Putonghua
