Job Description

Location: Sheung Wan

Roles & responsibilities:
  • Provide logistical support, design poster & related materials and liaise with vendors in organizing social and recreational activities to all staff members;
  • process various applications for staff welfare benefits, such as medical/dental treatment, staff welfare grants and loans, retired staff welfare benefits, and provide administrative support in staff schemes/awards by managing mass data consolidation, souvenir production and distribution;
  • provide administrative support in coordinating the Staff Welfare Committee;
  • provide support in maintaining/updating e-platform(s) in relation to staff welfare function;
  • perform daily office administration and document management duties as assigned; and
  • handle telephone enquiries from internal staff members and external parties.
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • (a) 5 passes in HKCEE including English Language (Syllabus B), Chinese Language and Mathematics plus at least 2 years of relevant experience; or
    (b) completion of F.5 plus at least 3 years of relevant experience;
  • strong computer knowledge including Chinese and English word-processing, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and Photoshop/PhotoImpact; and
  • proficiency in written Chinese and English.

Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will initially be offered a 2-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.

Vaccine Pass requirements:

Job applicant (if appointed) will be required to enter or work in specified/other applicable premises under the Vaccine Pass and fulfill the Vaccine Pass requirements in accordance with the Prevention and Control of Disease (Vaccine Pass) Regulation (Cap. 599L) and as stipulated by the Hospital Authority/Education Bureau/Social Welfare Department/other authorities at any point of time during the course of employment.
