Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and self-driven HR Manager to join us at livi, a new virtual bank in Hong Kong backed by Bank of China (Hong Kong), JD Digits and Jardine Matheson. Let’s build the bank Hong Kong deserves.

This role is to provide end-to-end recruitment services, work closely with the supervisor and Hiring Managers to execute the recruitment plans of the year and partner with business unites to resolve any staff issues and drive business objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner in managing full employee life cycle, includes but not limited to talent acquisition, staff communication & engagement
  • Assist the senior to drive HR initiatives to improve company culture and staff engagement activities, resolve any employee issues and organizational challenges
  • Handle the entire recruitment process from job posting yo contract signing with candidates, as well as the on-boarding arrangement
  • Communicate with hiring managers for recruitment needs and requirements
  • Design the appropriate sourcing strategies, putting priority on direct sourcing and cost-efficient channels
  • Ensure job openings are posted on all the relevant sourcing channels and platforms, engage to preferred recruitment vendors when necessary
  • Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on candidates info, searches, interviews
  • Update the hiring status to maintain accurate reports and ensure hirings are within budget.
  • Manage the relationship with headhunters and search firms; review the contract agreement and their service level every year;
  • Advise hiring managers on recruitment best practices and policies
  • Analyze the effectiveness of our HR procedures and tools from time to time
  • Ensure HR and the business unites’ plans align with the company mission and business objectives
  • Maintain a high level of risk awareness and ensure compliance with the bank policies.
  • Ensure thorough understanding of internal processes and respect of the labour laws and regulations
  • Stay current on recruitment trends and market updates, create and execute strategic sourcing plans to attract top talent
  • Participate in various HR projects such as performance appraisal, salary and benefits surveys, salary and bonus exercise, and other HR initiatives as required

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience gained in banking/ financial industry or search firms (specialized in FI or Fintech Industry) with in house experience

  • Bachelor Degree holder preferably in Human resources management
  • Detail-minded, good interpersonal skills and able to work under pressure
  • Able to deliver on time and at the level of quality expected, with ability to identify risks, dependencies and priorities
  • Self-driven and be able to work independently to resolve issues, to drive new things and willing to taking responsibilities
  • Being courageous to uphold the ethic, including confidentiality and other HR guidelines
  • Excellent command in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin
