Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist Chief Human Resources Officer in overseeing full spectrum of human resources operation services, include but not limited to reward and performance management, human resources risk and compliance, employee licensing registrations, policies and procedures, talent acquisition and any initiatives where necessary;
  • Review and enhance the rewards structure and strategies to ensure its compliance with legal and regulatory requirements from Insurance Authority and relevant regulatory bodies;
  • Review the remuneration policies and practices as well as benefits entitlements so as to maintain market competitiveness and facilitate talent acquisition & retention needs;
  • Handle annual remuneration schemes and review processes; also conduct research and market surveys on various HR issues on best practices and market trends;
  • Manage the optimal function of HRMS, which may include integration, customization, development, maintenance, and reporting services, systems enhancement, and new modules implementation;
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process for both frontline and back office roles, from candidate searching, job ads posting, CV screening and shortlisting, interview arrangement and holding, offer making, reference checking to onboarding arrangement.
  • Establish effective talent sourcing strategies in both current and new recruitment channels, including institutions, social platforms, professional networks and agencies, to build talent pipelines across different sectors/job families;
  • Formulate, review, enhance human resources policies and procedures to comply with the business requirements and market situations;
  • Manage staff cost, headcount plan and analysis, annual budget plan and forecast as required;
  • Handle any ad hoc projects as deem required.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent;
  • Minimum 15 years’ relevant working experience; in which 10 years at managerial position; practical experience in insurance or financial institution is preferably;
  • Conversant with internet / PC applications, (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, HRMS on Workday is an added advantage)
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Good communication skills and interpersonal skills;
  • Resourceful, positive thinking, self-motivated and results-driven team leader/player;
  • Hands-on, attentive to details and able to work independently
  • Solid ground in employment legislation and compliance initiatives;
  • Good numerical senses, analytical and project management skills.
