We are looking for an innovative Subject Matter Expert - Core Banking to guide the development of business solutions for our Bank.

As a Subject Matter Expert, your duties will include evaluating organizational needs and recommending suitable business processes and respective core banking system solutions. 

Responsibilities:

• Work as an effective liaison between various business units to ensure that project needs are addressed
• Work closely with project stakeholders to document requirements and the associated use cases to thoroughly define and represent the mandated functionality and results
• Identify, document and communicate possible gaps in requirements, and at times collaborate with other SMEs to provide possible solution options
• Be accountable for high-quality analysis and detailed documentation to facilitate effective decision making, communication, and consistent project execution and delivery
• Provide business partners and project team with guidance, and with high quality documentation contributing to optimum designs, testing, deliver and effectively manage change and risk
• Work closely and effectively with multiple third parties as required in the delivery of solutions
• Oversee the development and implementation of the solutions and validate the final product that satisfies the defined requirements
• Perform any other duties as assigned by project managers

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree holder, preferably in business management or related discipline
• A minimum of ten years of directly related work experience in banking industry ideally in a capacity of Customer Service, especially in the area of Current / Savings Account; Time Deposit, Clearing processes with HKICL.  Experience in Commercial/Corporate Banking will be an advantage
• Related work knowledge and experience in banking operation processes re-engineering, Reports, Interface, Data Conversion, Enhancement; Forms development, systems testing
• Experience working in a regional, highly matrixed business environment
• Excellent communication, listening, interpersonal and influencing skills
• Detail-oriented, multitasking, key stakeholder management skills
• Pro-active and reliable personality
• Good proficiency in using MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
• Good command in both verbal and written English
• Ability to work under pressure and long hours
