The Job

  • Analyze and evaluate business performance, conduct financial forecast and budget, identify opportunities and threats, recommend action plans, and conduct monthly review with senior management
  • Adopt controls and governance on sales performance data, and financial & risk assessment on campaigns
  • Formulate the business plan with necessary data analysis for senior management review
  • Work closely with Finance team to ensure each KPIs in the P&L are fulfilled and to optimize the revenue and expenses to achieve the desirable IRR for the business model
  • Define and create business datamarts/datasets, measures, KPIs and dashboards to empower data analytic capability across functional teams
  • Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Translate business idea into a sound financial model and provide business proposal for senior management decision       
  • Study and understand company’s business processes and applications, including their effect on data and reporting, and applies the knowledge
  • Assemble performance statistics, analyzes and make recommendations for improvements
  • Partner with Data Science team to provide advanced analytic and model building

The Person

  • University graduate major in Finance, Business Administration or related disciplines
  • 8+ years of solid experience in financial planning and/or business analysis in the Insurance industry
  • Experience in actuarial/Python/R is a plus
  • Possess proficiency in data management and information usage
  • Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge in insurance products and operation process is preferred
  • Good computer skills in Word, Excel PowerPoint
  • Fluency in verbal and written English communications
