Job Responsibilities

• Leverage technological advancement for client reporting, payment reconciliation and revenue analysis to enhance day-to-day operation efficiency.
• Monitor risk on market data revenue through analyzing accounts receivable and aging levels, provide regular status reports and insights for management review.
• Implement various risk-based market data audits and monitoring programmes, be able to translate massive datasets and information collected from audits into meaningful reports and systematic analysis, write up audit reports independently with rectification suggestions to auditees on a timely manner.
• Strategically tackle and resolve unauthorized use and dissemination of market data by licensees or non-licensees according to market data policies, guiding notes and internal work procedures, communicate change of policies and audit requirements with third-party auditors.
• Translate internal policies and guidelines into practice, review and make suggestions to ensure operating procedures to ensure alignment.
• Assist management in ad-hoc projects as well as cross-department initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Qualified accountant or university graduate in relevant disciplines with HKICPA/CPA/ACCA designation.
• Minimum 1 - 2 years finance, accounting, audit or equivalent experience.
• Good understanding of financial industry and data products, proactive in providing feedback to internal stakeholders.
• Highly independent and detail-oriented, ability to prioritize work with a set timeframe also the flexibility to shift gears.
• Strong work ethics, critical thinking and analytical skills are crucial.
• High proficiency of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua), strong demand in communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel (including Pivot), MS Access, MS Powerpoint.
