Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Support sales business related activities within the Global Markets unit and help achieve business target
- Assist in markets sales for deal execution and booking
- Provide adequate support to the team to ensure smooth execution without compliance issue, negotiate or communicate with various internal departments etc.
- Assist in monitoring trades and be the first checker of the tickets to make sure trades are accurately input in the relevant systems
- Report risk issues to supervisor where necessary
- Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations
- Ensure full compliance with the prevailing regulations showing examples of ethical behaviour and following all internal controls for the Team
- Assist with management information/reporting and ad hoc projects/assignments
Job Requirements:
- University graduate in Banking/Finance or related discipline.
- General banking knowledge, with experience in banking or global markets will be an advantage.
- General knowledge in Rates and FX products.
- Mature, proactive and able to work independently.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese.
