Your key responsibilities

• Managing client engagements, working with high-performing teams to analyze, evaluate and enhance our clients’ capital markets businesses with consistent high-quality delivery within expected timeframes and budgets
• Interface with clients at all levels of an organization to help them solve their most challenging questions and support the Capital Markets practice in developing new offerings and thought leadership to take to market, enhancing our capabilities and services
• Develop impactful written presentations and participate effectively in meetings with senior clients
• Motivating and developing a growing team to inspire them to deliver beyond their perceived potential, all the while establishing a strong foundation in Capital Markets products, functions and processes
• Support the Service Leader (Partner) to help grow the competency and execute the go-to-market approach and client coverage
• Help with business development on select clients to build and convert the pipeline
• Gather data, perform analysis, provide insights and recommendations to project leadership and client personnel
• Collaborate with other competencies on cross team offerings

Skills and attributes for success

• Previous client facing experience at a top-tier financial institution highly desirable
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and demonstrated knowledge in capital markets across the trade flow: front, middle and back office, pillars of risk management, regulatory compliance, market infrastructure, Capital Markets products: securities and/or derivatives
• Self-motivated and willing to ask probing questions to identify client opportunities
• Possess strong communication, presentation and technical writing skills to describe ideas, concepts and issues that involve interpretation, analysis and assessment of complex conceptual topics
• Possess a self-starting attitude, an ability to think outside the box and thrive on new challenges
• Ability to develop and manage teams with diverse backgrounds and skillsets to deliver exceptional

quality to clients

• Ability to positively engage across service lines and connect with multiple stakeholders, leveraging the global EY network
• Intellectually curious, keeping on top of industry trends and potential for innovations

To qualify for the role you must have

• Successful track record in the Capital Markets industry ideally gained through a top tier consultancy, a specialist financial services consultancy, or in the industry at a top tier bank or market infrastructure provider for a minimum of 6 years with at least 2 years of experience managing or leading teams and/or projects
• Keen interest and understanding of the capital markets across the trade and client life cycle; the tools that are used across the front, middle and back office; and a keen interest in innovation, digital strategy and driving efficiency for our clients
• Demonstrated project management, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
• Advanced written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Tech savviness – willingness to learn how to use relevant tools / software as needed
• Excellent leadership, teamwork and client service skills
• Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment or comparable experience working as an advisor to financial services companies
