Tasks

The ideal HR Consultant will have broad hands-on experience and possesses in-depth knowledge of HR disciplines such as HR Operations, Benefits, Payroll, Employee Relations and HRIS:

  • Provide guidance across the HR lifecycle including but not limited to hiring, benefits programs and administration, HR policy and procedure, employee relations and offboarding.
  • Advises on the administration of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with established local legislations.
  • Establish and maintain department records and reports, recommend new approaches to effect continual improvements in service performance and delivery of HR processes and data requests.
  • Participate in HR projects contributing through collaboration with local and global HR teams to ensure consistency and create efficiencies.
  • Conduct HR research through various methods and present findings and best practices recommendations
  • Takeover of additional tasks when is required.
Requirements

If you want to be the next 
HR Consultant you must fulfill the following requirements: 
  • University degree preferable in the field of Human Resources, Legal, Social Sciences or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant HR professional experience within Aviation or highly matrixed international organizations.
  • Good knowledge of Hong Kong and China employment law.
  • Excellent spoken and written English with knowledge of Cantonese, Mandarin and/or German desirable.
  • Strong conceptual skills combined with an implementation-oriented way of working.
  • High degree of intercultural competency and strong understanding of Greater China cultures.
  • Prior experience in negotiating with co-determination committees is advantageous.
