Are you an experienced Legal Secretary team manager with major law firm experience?

Our client, a major international law firm with considerable operations across the region, is seeking a team manager to manage the secretarial services function across the region. 

YOU WILL

• Ensure operational management of the legal secretarial functions, focusing on service quality and delivery 
• Manage and devise a strategy for the running of the legal secretarial function across the region, tailoring it to match the work demands and workflow in each practice area
• Oversee team budgeting, daily resourcing and recruitment needs, find ways to ensure efficiencies and productivity are continually improved or enhanced 
• Build relationships and establish clear channels of communication 
• Give pastoral care to, and motivate, team members
• Support cross-regional projects to improve services
• Other ad hoc duties

YOU

• Minimum 10 years' managerial legal secretarial experience from reputable and large law firms
• Ability to build deep collaborative working relationships quickly
• Good commercial awareness, excellent organization skills, ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines 
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese; knowledge in Mandarin an advantage
• Fast and accurate computer skills, including English and Chinese typing, fast learner 
• Self-motivated, efficient, independent worker
• Positive, can-do attitude, strong leadership and inter-personal skills
