Job Description:

Based in Hong Kong, provide overall HR solutions for Hong Kong Commercial business and reporting to the General Manager of Hong Kong Commercial and dot line to Senior HR Director of China and Hong Kong. This position will be responsible for overall Human Resources expertise, including recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, payroll, Life cycle management, Talent development and employee engagement and relationship, etc. to enable organization capability building and sustainable business development.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for human resources functions including but not limited to HR operations and systems, recruitment, talent management, compensation & benefits, payroll and employee relations.
• Talent pipelines build up through proper talent development strategy to meet the requirement of business development.
• Build a strong relationship with internal & external customers.
• Transform management’s direction into policies and guidelines. 
• Initiate HR programs by establishing systems and process to attract, engage, manage and develop the workforce to utilize its full potential in alignment with the direction, goals and strategies of the business.
• Handle staff issues and cases including but not limited to disputes, disciplinary actions and interact with the statutory bodies in relation to staff issues to ensure legal compliance.
• Provide direction and coaching to managers at all levels and staff concerning HR policies, practices, job performance, documentation, and conflict resolution.
• Participate in special projects and assignments as assigned.

Qualifications, Experience and Characteristics Required:

• University Graduate, major in Human Resources is a plus.
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience in similar capacity gained in sizable organizations, preferably in multinational company.
• Capable of quality relationships with all customers and a willingness to be an active team member. Able to work independently and under pressure. Attention to details, systematic, well-organized with analytical mind.
• Independent and good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Well served in Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and other HR related legislation and employment practices in Hong Kong.
• Good command of both written & spoken English and Chinese. Knowledge of Mandarin preferable.
• Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese Word Processing and HR System.
