Job Description

Our talented experts are dedicated to managing the complexity inherent in construction projects, catering to each client’s unique needs. We provide services such as program management, construction management and owner’s representation to our clients around the globe.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of various programmes, including but not limited to Master Programme, Design Programme, Submission Programme, Tendering Programme, Procurement Programme, Construction Programme and Commissioning Programme, etc.
  • Provide detailed review, analysis and monitoring of the master, design, submission, tendering, procurement, construction and commissioning programmes;
  • Work closely on a day-to-day basis with the Senior Project Manager or the project team to monitor and/or review the programmes of Works;
  •  Provide inputs, graphs and critical path analysis on the monthly and weekly progress reports;
  • Report to the Senior Project Manager or the project team on any risks, opportunities and any mitigation strategies to maintain the project completion date;
  • Review actual progress against the programme during different project phases and report to the Senior Project Manager or the project team;
  • Attend meetings and convene workshops with the project team as necessary to get snap-shots on time and keeping an update on actual progress on site;
  • Conduct routine evaluation on progress against the programme and coordinate with the project team for schedule risk analysis and evaluation;
  • Provide support in evaluating any EOT and claim assessments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree of construction related disciplines;
  • At least 6 years of experience in engineering and construction projects in a planning and programming position;
  • A minimum of 3 hands-on years of experience and good understanding of Oracle Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management software;
  • Understand various construction works related scopes, production rates, resources assigned for various type of construction activities, and logics of construction sequences and methodologies among different project phases;
  • Professional membership of Project Management Institute or Association for Project Management is preferred;
  • Construction experience within a contractor is preferred;
  • Experience exposure to HK Government / MTR submission procedures, skills in assessing the potential risks or delay and time implications for submission
  • Recent working experience in railway implementation, airport or logistic related projects is advantageous
  • Fluent communication in English and Chinese (including Cantonese), both written and spoken
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Assistant Project Manager (Planning and Programming).
